Private Efforts
How private enterprises could help create living spaces for Liberlanders and retain development rights in return.
Liberland supports private efforts to secure one or more places where the community could live exclusively under its own jurisdiction. Not every territorial breakthrough has to come directly from the government. Private initiative may also create the opportunity.
If an enterprise successfully negotiates an autonomy arrangement with a host country in order to establish an SAR for Liberlanders, that enterprise should be entitled to manage the sale of land plots in the area. That right would be understood as compensation for bringing the opportunity into existence and for making the area available to the Liberland community.
At the same time, the arrangement would still need to allow the Liberland government to administer the area as Liberland jurisdiction. In that sense, private initiative and public administration can be complementary rather than mutually exclusive.
