Individual Liberty
Personal autonomy, self-direction, and respect for the dignity of each person.
Liberland Principle: Personal Agency
Individual liberty begins with the belief that each person should be treated as an end in themselves, not as a tool for somebody else’s plan. People are expected to think for themselves, take ownership of their decisions, and resist the habit of handing moral responsibility over to institutions or crowds.
In this mindset, freedom also includes restraint. A free community depends on members who can disagree without dehumanizing one another, defend their convictions without demanding obedience, and remain open to dialogue, persuasion, and voluntary alignment.
The goal is a culture where people feel safe to experiment, speak honestly, and pursue meaningful work, while still recognizing that liberty is sustained by maturity, civility, and accountability.
