Liberland’s next Congressional election is approaching. Citizens are invited to vote, stand for office, and meet the candidates at the Congress Elections Debate on 24 September 2026 at 16:00 CEST (14:00 UTC).

Dress code: Candidates and anyone intending to speak in a public capacity are requested to attend in formal dress.
Run for Congress
Liberland citizens are eligible to stand for office by running for a seat in our Congress. Candidates must be full citizens with on-chain citizenship, hold at least 5,000 Merits, and not be in receipt of Liberland welfare. Serving in Congress requires approximately five hours per week.
If you do not yet have a Liberland blockchain identity, complete the onboarding first: set up a wallet, claim your citizenship and Merits on-chain, and establish your identity.
Then go to the new Liberland blockchain interface, open Congress → Apply for Congress, and submit your candidacy. Set your display name, legal name and campaign website under Profile → Update identity.
To appear properly in our official candidate communications, please send elections@liberland.org your display name, a short bio of up to 80 words, your programme or campaign link (or up to 800 words for us to upload), and a good-quality portrait of at least 1200 px on the short side. A 1–3 minute campaign video and up to three relevant links are also welcome. These materials support the official presentation; your on-chain application is what makes you a candidate.
