The Liberland delegation has just returned from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and the Mongolia Economic Forum. Accompanying President Vit Jedlička were Finance Minister Navid Saberin and Swiss representative Jennifer de Broglie. Our delegation had the great honor of meeting with President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh and Prime Minister Zandanshatar Gombojav as well as many other representatives of the Mongolian people. The following letter from President Vit Jedlička to President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh expresses gratitude for hosting our visit and salutes the Mongolian nation on the occasion of the Naadam Festival.
Dear President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh,
On behalf of the Free Republic of Liberland, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and the people of Mongolia on the occasion of the National Naadam Festival and National Day. This vibrant celebration, marking the long history of the Mongolian people, the anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, the anniversary of the Restoration of National Freedom and Independence and many other historical turning points is a testament to Mongolia’s rich history, cultural heritage and enduring spirit.
The Naadam Festival, with its traditional "Three Manly Games" of wrestling, horse racing, and archery, embodies the strength, unity, and nomadic traditions of the Mongolian people. As a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, it serves as a powerful symbol of national pride and identity, uniting Mongolians across the globe in celebration.
Having just concluded my presentation at the Mongolian Economic Forum, I am deeply inspired by Mongolia's commitment to progress while honoring its ancient traditions. It was a great pleasure to attend the festivities alongside the MEF delegation, witnessing firsthand the vibrant energy and cultural pride of Naadam. I wish you, the government, and the people of Mongolia a joyous and prosperous Naadam, filled with unity, pride, and success. May this festival continue to strengthen the bonds of your great nation and inspire future generations.
